The Process

How does commissioning me work?
After we discuss the details of which models are being painted, we will take a moment to discuss color-schemes. You can send me reference pictures or even give me a few colors you'd love to see.
Don't have any color ideas but just want something pretty?
That's okay too! I'll come up with a scheme that I think looks nice and we can work from that as a starting point.
Need me to purchase the models?
I can purchase models for you from my go-to stores and the price of the model or models will be incorporated into the pricing quote.
My Workflow
Once I receive the models, we can start experimenting! I will take your ideas and apply the colors in a manner that I think looks best on the model. After that, you will receive pictures of the basic color-blocking and we can decide if we want to make any changes. Once we are both happy with the color scheme and idea, then i'll start working through them right away. After this stage only minor changes can be made to the overall scheme throughout the process. You will receive updates and photos as I progress to make sure you still like everything you see along the way.
Once the work is finished, you will receive final pictures for approval.
If at this stage, any major color changes are requested, additional costs may be incurred.
When will my commission be finished?
I try to operate on a 40-hr work week. When it is time for your commission in the que, you will receive a message letting you know and the process listed above will begin.

Payment

Methods
I primarily take payment through Paypal, which will be provided through email or messaging. Cash is also accepted for in person commissions.
When do I make a payment?
Half of the total quoted commission cost is due up-front upon acceptance of the workload. If models are being sent to me, half of payment is instead due when I confirm the arrival of the package. This allows me to get any additional needed supplies and to get started on the service. After the model is finished, and you've approved the final images sent, the rest of the quote is then due plus shipping. After receiving the agreed upon amount, I'll carefully pack up the models and send them to your address.

Shipping

How does shipping work?Shipping is paid for by the client and will be incorporated into the final half of the payment.Completed models will be shipped via USPS Priority/UPS, with insurance, tracking, and delivery confirmation.
Alternative shipping may be requested and will be quoted accordingly.
I take great care to ensure that completed models are packed safely, though, I cannot accept liability for damages incurred during shipping. Insurance to the value of the commission (excluding the cost of the miniature/s) will always be included where available.
